Did yesterday's Google crash affect recruitment?

Google had a bit of a bad day yesterday. Depending on whose story you believe, service was "limited to some users" because of a hold-up due to traffic being re-routed through Asia.

Whatever it was, this is not a good thing and I hope they come up with a solution. Google is a hugely influential company and is the Great Internet Gatekeeper. (Think about it: When was the last time you used a Google product? Chances are the last time you did an Internet search.)

The completely random Carnival of HR

Chaos Theory suggests that there is a connection behind everything, despite random appearance. After reading 30 HR blog posts in the past 24 hours I am not sure I completely agree.
