Are you on Linkedin yet?

Linkedin, the social network for professionals, has grown exponentially the past year. This is not surprising given the current economic climate.

What is the first thing people do when they are looking for work? Try to get their CV out to as many as possible, research new companies and get in touch with old colleagues. Linkedin is the perfect place to do all these things.

According to ComScore, unique monthly visitors to Linkedin has gone from nearly 3.6 million a year ago to 7.7 million today. I'm not sure their advertising business model will thrive, but it sure is a cool way to be in touch with professionals. My job "found me" because of Linkedin.
